| 25V189000 | 2025-04-17. EQUIPMENT:OTHER:LABELS. Temsa is recalling certain 2024-2025 TS45 transit buses. The Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) listed on the certification label is incorrect. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars." | 2025229 | 2025-04-25. Electrical. Issue: On certain buses, the multiplexer may not have been wired correctly. As a result, the "temporary bus stop" valve may unintentionally activate and apply the brakes while driving. If this happens, the bus could stop unexpectedly, and the brakes could overheat. Safety Risk: A bus that stops unexpectedly could result in a transfer of passengers in an uncontrolled environment, which may create a risk of injury. Additionally, overheated brakes could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Temsa will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your bus to a Temsa Service Center to update the vehicle software, and to correct the multiplexer wiring. |
