Recalls that may apply to the 2004 Suzuki Verona
A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups.

| 14V363000 | 2014-06-24. EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HEADLIGHTS. Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. (Suzuki) is recalling certain model year 2004-2006 Verona vehicles manufactured June 2003 to October 2005. In the affected vehicles, there may be heat generated within the DRL module located in the instrument panel, which could melt the DRL module. Built 2003-06-01 to 2005-10-30. |
|---|---|
| 05V022000 | 2005-01-28. EXTERIOR LIGHTING:BRAKE LIGHTS:SWITCH. ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH MAY BECOME MISADJUSTED IF AN UPWARD/REARWARD FORCE IS APPLIED TO THE BRAKE PEDAL. IF THIS SHOULD OCCUR, THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH WILL NOT FUNCTION PROPERLY, CAUSING THE BRAKE LIGHTS, INCLUDING THE HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP, TO REMAIN ILLUMINATED CONTINUOUSLY WITHOUT BRAKE PEDAL APPLICATION, WITH THE IGNITION SWITCH IN THE ON OR OFF POSITION. Built 2003-08-04 to 2004-04-20. |
| 04V396000 | 2004-08-13. FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY. IN CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, A FAULT IN THE ADAPTIVE FUEL CONTROL LOGIC CAN CAUSE SOME VEHICLES TO USE AIR/FUEL RATIOS DURING DECELERATION THAT ARE LEAN ENOUGH TO CAUSE ENGINE STALLING. Built 2003-06-01 to 2004-05-31. |
| 03V426000 | 2003-10-29. AIR BAGS:FRONTAL. ON CERTAIN PASSENGER CARS, THE DUAL STAGE DRIVER'S AIR BAG DEPLOYS IN AN IMPROPER SEQUENCE. Built 2003-06-16 to 2003-10-18. |
| 03V333000 | 2003-09-08. SEAT BELTS:FRONT:BUCKLE ASSEMBLY. CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES MAY HAVE A MISLOCATED SENSOR IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT BELT BUCKLE ASSEMBLY. THIS CONDITION CAN PREVENT THE DRIVER'S SEAT BELT TONGUE FROM BEING INSERTED INTO THE BUCKLE. Built 2003-06-16 to 2003-08-26. |
| 2014256 | 2014-06-27. Lights And Instruments. On certain vehicles, heat generated within the daytime running light (DRL) module could cause the module to melt, potentially resulting in a fire, which may result in injury and/or property damage. Correction: Dealers will replace the daytime running lamp (DRL) module. |
|---|---|
| 2012278 | 2012-08-13. Lights And Instruments. On certain vehicles, the Daytime Running Lamp (DRL) module may fail, causing one or more of the following conditions: the DRLs may flicker but remain illuminated; the DRL indicator in the instrument panel may flash; the DRLs may remain illuminated after the vehicle is turned OFF; the DRLs may cease to function and the DRL indicator in the instrument panel will turn OFF. A loss of DRL illumination could render the vehicle less visible to other motorists and pedestrians during daylight hours, which could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the DRL module, if the above condition exists, for a period of up to 10 years or 240,000 km from first vehicle registration. |
| 2005022 | 2005-01-31. Electrical. On certain vehicles, the stop lamp switch may become misadjusted if an upward force is applied to the brake pedal. The stop lamp electrical contacts in a misadjusted stop lamp switch may not open when the brake pedal is at its natural rest position, resulting in the brake lights staying illuminated continuously without service brake pedal application. Correction: Dealers will replace the stop lamp switch. |
| 2004290 | 2004-08-12. Fuel System. On certain vehicles, a fault in the adaptive fuel control logic can cause the air/fuel ratio during deceleration to become lean enough to cause engine stalling. Correction: Dealers will reprogram the Electronic Control Module. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
