| 13V449000 | 2013-10-18. SERVICE BRAKES. Suzuki Motor of America, Inc. (Suzuki) is recalling certain model year 2004-2013 GSX-R600 and GSX-R750, and model year 2005-2013 GSX-R1000 motorcycles. In combination with older brake fluid, corrosion of the brake piston inside of the front brake master cylinder generates gas that may result in a reduction of fluid pressure transmission to the front brake. Built 2006-12-01 to 2007-06-30. |
|---|---|
| 07V362000 | 2007-08-15. VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL. ON CERTAIN MOTORCYCLES, EACH TIME THE IGNITION SWITCH IS TURNED OFF, THE ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECM) PRE-SETS THE POSITION OF THE IDLE SPEED CONTROL (ISC) VALVE FOR SUBSEQUENT ENGINE STARTING BY OPENING THE VALVE COMPLETELY AND THEN CLOSING IT TO A START-UP POSITION. Built to 2007-06-16. |
| 2013360 | 2013-10-18. Brakes. On certain motorcycles, corrosion could form inside the front brake master cylinder, which could cause a spongy brake feel. This could potentially lead to extended stopping distances, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will install a redesigned front brake master cylinder. |
|---|---|
| 2007266 | 2007-08-15. Engine. On certain motorcycles the Idle Speed Control valve (ISC) may malfunction. The valve may remain in the open position on start up and cause a no load engine speed as high as 5000 rpm. If the rider chooses to operate the motorcycle in this condition it could result in a crash. Correction: The ISC and ECM will be replaced. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
