Service bulletins for the 2015 Subaru XV CrossTrek

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

14-22-16R2019-07-01. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT. To help reduce confusion and increase technician efficiency, Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA) has developed the following cross reference list to help locate the appropriate Special Service Tool.
16-94-15R2018-12-10. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. This bulletin provides a diagnosis and repair procedure for DTC P172A and / or P0B0B. When either of these DTCs is stored, a leaking o-ring which seals the electric oil pump relief valve may allow CVT fluid to enter the pump?s electric motor. Although current Service Manual diagnostic procedures instruct replacement of multiple components, this information will help isolate the actual failed component for a more cost-effective repair. NOTE: The relief valve is now available as an individual part. If there is no damage to the drive motor case assembly, refer to TSB 16-108-17R for the parts needed and Service Procedure for replacing just the relief valve.
16-114-182018-08-20. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. HYBRID MODELS ONLY. This Service Information bulletin provides revised diagnostics to follow when troubleshooting a DTC P0C79, ?Drive Motor ?A? Inverter Voltage Too High?.
16-94-15R2018-08-20. Service bulletin. ENGINE. HYBRID MODELS ONLY.
16-112-18R2018-07-16. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. This bulletin announces a design change to the CVT select lever (shifter) mechanism in response to isolated customer concerns of not being able to remove the key from the ignition switch when the vehicle is in Park. The cause is contamination of the Park-Range switch internal components.

This bulletin provides information to help diagnose and address different conditions relating to customer concerns which may arise when operating the new-generation ?Gen 2? and ?Gen 2.1? F10 Navigation and Display Audio systems. We will continue to add more helpful tips to this TSB as they become available.
07-135-182018-07-16. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. HEV MODELS ONLY. This Service Information bulletin informs of a potentially incorrect display when a DTC is stored in either the Hybrid Power Control Module (HPCM) or in the OBD menu, Mode $02 while retrieving freeze-frame data (FFD). If a DTC is stored in either of these ECMs, a list of 42 codes may be returned in error when using either SSM4 or a Generic Scan Tool (GST). DTCs stored in other ECMs continue to be displayed normally.
07-128-18R2018-07-16. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. This Service Information bulletin provides a measurement and adjustment procedure for the stop lamp switch. An improperly adjusted (or faulty) stop lamp switch can cause any of the DTCs listed to set and result in the related system?s warning lamp to illuminate.
02-160-152018-06-18. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. This Service Information bulletin provides revised procedures for inspection and measurement of the cylinder block assembly to determine whether or not replacement is necessary.
