Service bulletins for the 2018 Subaru Impreza

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

528 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

All that is required is a secure WiFi connection such as through a home network or the use of a secure WiFi hotspot to create a connection to the update server and any customer can obtain and install an available FOTA update to their infotainment head unit. In this bulletin we are focusing on FOTA for Harman Gen 3.0 MIDlevel audio systems and Gen 3.0 HIGH audio-navigation systems. BASE models are not FOTA capable.
