This only affects 2017MY vehicles, SOA has raised the minimum stock requirement for all retailers to at least 4 units which is stock max. The prime max has been upgraded to a minimum of 8 units per side.

To better meet retailer demand, SOA has increased the PRIME max inventory levels to a minimum of 8 per side. This announcement is in regard to 2017MY Impreza vehicles with an open - limited parts available, to allow WRG22 recall repairs to begin for vehicles presented at stores for other services.

Subaru previously notified all affected vehicle owners of this recall with an interim letter by first class mail on October 11, 2022 advising them they would be re-notified with a follow up letter to schedule an appointment once parts are available. Subaru is currently receiving a limited number of parts from the headlamp supplier – 1,080 sets per week – for service and recall needs combined.
