26V1760002026-03-23. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING:SWITCHES/KNOBS/BUTTONS. Daimler Coaches North America (Daimler Coaches) is recalling certain 2009-2020 Setra S417 and 2012-2019 Setra S407 vehicles. The switches for the hazard warning lights, defroster, heating and air conditioning system, and fan speed may fail to illuminate correctly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, "Control and Displays."
21V4690002021-06-23. STRUCTURE:BODY:HOOD:HINGE AND ATTACHMENTS. Daimler Coaches North America (Daimler Coaches) is recalling certain 2009-2020 Setra S417 and 2012-2019 Setra S407 vehicles. The hinge on the engine compartment flap may crack, which could result in the flap detaching from the vehicle.

20262432026-05-19. Lights And Instruments. Issue: On a small number of buses, the switches for the hazard warning lights, windshield defroster/defogger and fan speed may not meet the requirements of Canadian regulations. As a result, you may not be able to see the control switches in low light conditions. Safety Risk: Switches that are difficult to see could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Daimler Coaches North America will notify owners by mail and provide you with instructions for how to replace the hazard warning lights switch.
20123942012-11-26. Electrical. On certain coaches, the ground wire (to the alternator housing) could chafe against the alternator positive wire connector. This could cause abrasion damage to the ground wire insulation, possibly resulting in an electrical short circuit. An electrical short could result in a vehicle fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will reposition the wiring harness.
