Flash: Dosing Control Unit (DCU) Diagnostic and System Improvements This bulletin involves reprogramming the DCU with the latest available software and if necessary replacing the unit. Some customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation, a technician may find the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs):P207F - Reductant Quality Performance. P202C - Reductant Tank Heater Control Circuit High. P203B - Reductant Level Sensor 1 Circuit Performance.
90034662018-06-04. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Rear Crank Shaft Oil Seal and Retainer Plate For Cummins equipped vehicles only; If you are working on a 2016 or 2017 vehicle ONLY and are replacing the Rear Main Seal for oil leak, replace seal, retainer and gasket using PNs; 05086755A$, 05086754A$, 05015705A$. Remove the retainer with the seal installed. Please do not disturb seal in retainer when removing from engine. Please refer to detailed repair instructions in DealerConnect TechConnect for oil seal retainer replacement. Cummins Engineering is currently investigating the root cause of the oil leak concern and would like to analyze these parts. Please contact Chad Eichbrecht at cell (248) 309-2695 to arrange for part return. If you do not receive a response within 15 minutes, please proceed with normal repair.
90033572018-06-04. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Pentastar Oil Filter Adapter All vehicles equipped with a 3.2L or 3.6L engine; If replacing the Oil Filter Adapter (OFA) due to a leak detected between OFA and block, an O-ring kit (68191356AA) is now available to repair OFA/Block Interface leaks. Using dye will assist in determining source of leak. Ensure OFA Cap Oring is seated in the proper groove in the cap and not damaged or cut. Engineering is seeking information regarding OFA leaks. Housing: Oil Filter Adapter Cummins equipped trucks ONLY; If you are replacing the oil filter adapter as a result of thread damage to the oil filter connector (Spud), DO NOT replace the entire adapter assembly. The oil filter connector is available separately (Part Number 04429355).~ If ordering an adapter due to some other issue, you must also order an oil bypass valve Mopar Part # 04797726AB, as these are not reusable. Please refer to all applicable published service information for oil bypass valve installation

Intake Manifold Gasket Intake Manifold Gaskets on Pentastar Upgrade (Sales Code ERC/ERF) are reusable provided they are not cut, torn or melted. The gaskets are not required by warranty to be replaced like they are on Pentastar Classic (ERB/EHB). The new gaskets are not interchangeable with Pentastar Classic Intake Manifold Gaskets.
