90034662018-06-04. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Rear Crank Shaft Oil Seal and Retainer Plate For Cummins equipped vehicles only; If you are working on a 2016 or 2017 vehicle ONLY and are replacing the Rear Main Seal for oil leak, replace seal, retainer and gasket using PNs; 05086755A$, 05086754A$, 05015705A$. Remove the retainer with the seal installed. Please do not disturb seal in retainer when removing from engine. Please refer to detailed repair instructions in DealerConnect TechConnect for oil seal retainer replacement. Cummins Engineering is currently investigating the root cause of the oil leak concern and would like to analyze these parts. Please contact Chad Eichbrecht at cell (248) 309-2695 to arrange for part return. If you do not receive a response within 15 minutes, please proceed with normal repair.

Pentastar Oil Filter Adapter All vehicles equipped with a 3.2L or 3.6L engine; If replacing the Oil Filter Adapter (OFA) due to a leak detected between OFA and block, an O-ring kit (68191356AA) is now available to repair OFA/Block Interface leaks. Using dye will assist in determining source of leak. Ensure OFA Cap Oring is seated in the proper groove in the cap and not damaged or cut. Engineering is seeking information regarding OFA leaks. If cracks are found, please replace as necessary. Cracks are typically found above the cross member area. 68232614A$2017-11-03. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Intake Manifold Gasket Intake Manifold Gaskets on Pentastar Upgrade (Sales Code ERC/ERF) are reusable provided they are not cut, torn or melted. The gaskets are not required by warranty to be replaced like they are on Pentastar Classic (ERB/EHB). The new gaskets are not interchangeable with Pentastar Classic Intake Manifold Gaskets.
