Rear Crank Shaft Oil Seal and Retainer Plate For Cummins equipped vehicles only;~ If you are working on a 2016 vehicle ONLY and are replacing the Rear Main Seal for oil leak, replace seal, retainer and gasket using PNs; 05086755A$, 05086754A$, 05015705A$. Remove the retainer with the seal installed. Please do not disturb seal in retainer when removing from engine. Please refer to detailed repair instructions in DealerConnect TechConnect for oil seal retainer replacement.~ Cummins Engineering is currently investigating the root cause of the oil leak concern and would like to analyze these parts. Flash: Transmission Control Module (TCM) Updates This bulletin involves reprogramming the TCM with the latest available software. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that the followingDTC has been set:U1111-00 - Lost Odometer Message(DD, DF, and DP with Diesel Engine Only). In addition, the customer may notice one or more of the following conditions: The customer may notice a harsh 2-3 and/or 3-4 shift(2017 MY D2 with ETK 6.7L Diesel and DF2 Transmission Only). 1-2 hard shift. 3-4 flare issue fix. Trans quick learn fix(Gas Engine Only). Transmission oil temperature light illumination during high engine and tow loads. Less than desired towing performance while using cruise control. Harsh engagement while shifting from neutral to drive, neutral to reverse,or park to reverse with vehicle still in motion (rolling garage shift). Engine flare during 2-1 tip in downshift. Less than desired shift quality during 6-5 and 5-4 coasting downshifts. Delayed downshifts in Tow/Haul mode while driving down grades. Less than desired transmission shift performance when transitioning froma low traction to high traction surfaces i.e. ice covered road to clear pavement. Less than desired shift points during light pedal and Wide Open Throttle(WOT) operation or while in Tow/Haul and engine brake modes. 1-2 upshift shudder correction(Diesel engine and DF2 Transmission Only). A harsh 1-2 upshift(DF2 Transmission Only). Excessive gear shifting(DF2 Transmission Only). Harsh 2-1 downshift(DF2 Transmission Only). If cracks are found, please replace as necessary. Cracks are typically found above the cross member area. 90034132022-09-15. Service bulletin. VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL. Accelerator Pedal Before replacing accelerator pedal, be sure to follow fault code diagnostic procedures in service manual. Make sure to check wiring and connectors. P2122 and P2127 will set if accelerator pedal connector is disconnected during diagnosis. Make sure codes are active before replacing pedal. DTC P2299 is usually caused by a two footed driver and accelerator pedal should not be replaced for this fault.

Washer Fluid Level Sensor Prior to replacing this part due to "Low Washer Fluid" tell tale light on the dash and the washer fluid bottle is full, please perform this inspection: Check if float sensor is rotated off location from the bottle anti-rotation features that surround the SENSOR. Diesel Injector Freezing This bulletin involves installing a insulator over the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) injector. Customers may experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination. Upon further investigation the technician may find that one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) have been set: P218F - Reductant No Flow Detected. P202E - (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) Reductant Injector Performance. The customer will not notice any drivability issues associated with these DTCs. These DTCs may set when the vehicles is parked for a long time and the ambient temperatures are below -11 °C (12 °F).
