ENGINE, Complete Due to a shortage of wiring harnesses, this service engine assembly is temporarily being shipped without an engine wiring harness. When installing the replacement engine, you will need to transfer the engine wiring harness from the original engine onto the new assembly. Refer to STAR Online S2209000003 for detailed instructions.

UAX, UCX, UAV and UCV Radio Over the Air Software Version Updates This bulletin provides information regarding the latest Flash Over The Air (FOTA) update and provides the service technician an overview of the steps a customer will need to take to complete the update. The radio software will be updated to:DT with UAX and UCX - Current software 34.2RM will be update to 34.31FRM. All other vehicles and radio combinations - 34.2. The national launch for the FOTA will begin July 21, 2021. Customers may experience one or more of the following: SOS, Automatic SOS (ASOS) , assist calls not showing correct location(DT Vehicles with UAX and UCX Only). GPS inaccuracies(DT Vehicles with UAX or UCX Only). Uconnect radio apps are inoperable(DT Vehicles with UAX or UCX Only). SXM® button are greyed out(DT Vehicles with UAX or UCX Only). Intermittently, SXM loading screen is stuck(DT Vehicles with UAX or UCX Only). Uconnect App inoperative(DT Vehicles Only). Voice Recognition (VR) inoperative(DT Vehicles Only). Radio resets(DT Vehicles Only). Radio locks up, freezes or resets. Bluetooth device is slow to pair, or does not pair. GPS unable to load and find locations. Loss of saved radio presets. Display screen is back with no backlighting. No audio output coming from the radio. Cannot control audio volume. Rear view camera display will not turn off.

This is part of a two step FOTA update, first update brings software level to 22.61 and this second FOTA update will take the software to 22.64. National launch for this second step is May 24, 2021. Customers may experience one or more of the following:Navigation is incorrect or can not calculate route. GPS locations is inaccurate. Uconnect radio apps are all inoperable. Backup camera screen is blue (DT and KL). Green horizontal lines appear across screen (DT and KL). Anti-theft code request message. Backup camera screen is blank. Lines appear across screen. Radio control screen is blank or locked. Radio reset intermittently. Unable to adjust audio volume. Unable to switch modes between AM, FM, SAT or Media. In addition the following enhancements are included in this update:Carplay® connectivity improvement. Improvement to Bluetooth® phone pairing. Bluetooth devices unresponsive. Improved sound quality when using a Bluetooth phone.

The technician may find one or more of the following DTCs:U1440 - Implausible Transfer Case Ratio High Received. U0403-00 - Implausible Data Received From T-case. C1403-92 - Transfer Case Range Position Sensor-Performance Or Incorrect Operation(2019-2020 Vehicles Only). If only DTC C1403 is present, follow normal diagnostic procedures before updatingthe DTCM.In addition the customer may describe one or more of the following:Traction Control System light is illuminated. A driveline bump can be heard/felt occasionally when the driver is steady on the throttle at about 20-30% on a flat road while in 4WDAUTO(2019-2020 Vehicles Only). An excessive electric motor clicking sound from the middle of the vehicle/transfer case area, when on and off the throttle(2019-2020 Vehicles Only). An excessive electric motor clicking sound with steering wheel movement, most notable in parking lot or low speed maneuvering(2019-2020 Vehicles Only). A ?Service 4WD? message/fault without commanding a transfer case shift(2019-2020 Vehicles Only).If only the ?Service 4WD? message/fault is displayed in the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) and no other symptom/conditionsare present, follow normal diagnostic procedures before updating the DTCM(2019-2020 Vehicles Only). The blinking of the ?4WD Low? and ?4WD High? indicator lights at the same time, on the transfer case selector switch.If both 4WD indicator lights on the transfer case selector switch are blinking and no other symptom/conditions are present,follow normal diagnostic procedures before updating the DTCM(2019-2020 Vehicles Only). During highway/freeway speeds, a bump in the driveline may be felt. This could also be described as a harsh transmission shift(2019-2020 Vehicles Only).

When vehicle is first start the radio will reset and the time display shows 12:00. Audio distortion and volume fluctuation. Blank rear camera image in reverse (If this is the customer concern use camera LOP 18-60-02-W2, on DT and JL vehicles only). Audio distortion (KL vehicles). Audio cutting in and out during memory recall. Ring tone too loud. AM/FM volume fluctuates. While in CarPlay® or Android Auto Google® maps showing wrong location. Phone disconnected after first call. Black screen or White screen with vertical lines. Personal Identification Number (PIN) clears and volume locked while KeySense is used. Audio static while in SXM/SAT modes. Echo heard during Bluetooth phone calls. The radio is locked up. The radio remains on after ignition has been turned off. The radio resets. The radio screen turns black. Intermittently requires an anti-theft code to be entered. Software update also includes software enhancement.SXM sound and behavior improvements.
