122-R6Y8J-052018-05-21. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM). Condition The customer experiences an interruption in Apple CarPlay service after selecting the reverse gear. In other words, after the PCM screen displays the reverse camera, the PCM screen will not display Apple CarPlay until the user resets the PCM (perhaps by cycling the ignition).
122-B6P3D-032018-03-13. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. Symptom: Hard or jerky gear changes. Cause: This is caused by the transition phase when changing from the engaged gear to the target gear. Various components of the powertrain affect the shifting quality. Remedial Action: In the event of a customer complaint, use PIWIS Tester III with software 36.400.020 (or higher) installed to: ? re-program and code the Tiptronic control unit via "Automatic programming" and ? reset the adaptation values.

Gear Shift Changes, particularly in first and second gears Information: Rough gear changes with unmatched engine and transmission revs can be attributed to an unadapted PDK. Transmission performance issues characterized by unmatched, abrupt shifts, particularly in first and second gears may require a driving adaption. Prior to the adaption drive, update PDK Software using the latest PT3G Version and perform a calibration. Successful calibration of the PDK is a prerequisite for the adaption drive.
