Service bulletins for the 2018 Porsche Panamera
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.
798 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

| 122-U2A6V-03 | 2019-03-25. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; ENGINE. Complaint - Engine Support Broken: Replacing Both Engine Supports |
|---|---|
| 122-R8P3T-01 | 2019-02-25. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Oil Leakage from Cylinder Head of 3.0 and 2.9-Liter V6 Engines |
| 122-W9V2E-11 | 2018-11-13. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Technical Background The rear O2 sensor(s) is found to be bad. The sleeve on the O2 sensor was being heated enough that the fumes from it were contaminating the sensor. |
| 122-W6M7A-11 | 2018-11-13. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Subject: Coolant pipe between engine block and left cylinder head (cyl. 4?6) Infomation: The coolant pipe between the engine block and left cylinder head on the affected vehicles can crack over the service life of the vehicle due to vibrations in the cooling system. If this happens, coolant can leak out. If the coolant loss goes unnoticed, this will activate the coolant temperature light and the coolant level warning light in the instrument cluster. |
| 122-R9H5B-07 | 2018-08-06. Service bulletin. ENGINE; EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY. Concerns: Belt tensioner Information: Checking belt tensioner in the event of a complaint about "leaks" before carrying out any other work. |
| 122-P5G7U-07 | 2018-08-06. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING; ENGINE. Oil in the wiring harness. If oil is found in the engine wiring harness during a repair, the wiring harness and all the affected components (including the oil pump control valve) must be replaced. |
| 122-R9H5B-07 | 2018-07-30. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Concerns: Belt tensioner Information: Checking belt tensioner in the event of a complaint about "leaks" before carrying out any other work. |
| 122-Z2P4B-06 | 2018-06-25. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Technical Background The coolant pump for the high voltage battery actively monitors its own speed and current consumption. For a given commanded speed, if the actual pump speed exceeds a defined value and the current consumption drops below a certain threshold, a dry run condition is detected. The pump communicates this to the high voltage battery control unit and fault code P0C4A00 is stored. One possible cause of this is air in the low temperature cooling system. This fault can take several hundred miles to set. |
| 122-A2R4B-06 | 2018-06-25. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM:FAN. There is a possibility that the pressure hose between the charge-air cooler and throttle valve for cylinders 4?6 is rubbing against the cooling fan housing on the affected vehicles. This can cause a leak in the pressure hose at the chafing point over the service life of the vehicle. This will result in reduced engine power and the Check Engine light will be activated. |
| 122-A6Z3V-03 | 2018-03-13. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:EMISSION CONTROL:GAS RECIRCULATION VALVE (EGR VALVE). Subject: Intake valves and intake ports Information: Carboned-up valves in the engine can be reworked and cleaned using cleaning equipment. If there is a complaint about knocking combustion, e.g. during acceleration at high load, the condition of the intake valves and portsmust be checked before doing any other work. If the check shows that the intake valves and intake ports have carbon deposits and are dirty, they must be cleaned using the VAS 294 011 - cleaning unit. There should be no need to replace the components. Date of Introduction: The VAS 294 011 - cleaning unit can be ordered immediately for dealers. Remedial Action: The VAS 294 011 - cleaning unit is used for cleaning carboned-up intake valves and intake ports. Compressed air is used to spray a special granulatemixture into the intake port, where it loosens and removes carbon build-up. The dirty granulate is extracted during spraying using an industrial vacuum cleaner. |
| 122-B4P8W-01 | 2018-01-29. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Subject: Fastening screw for engine ground cable on front right longitudinalmember Concern: There is a possibility that the fastening screw for the engine ground cable on the front right longitudinalmember may not have been tightened sufficiently. |
| 122-W6Z8L-08 | 2017-10-25. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Concern: Abrupt, ?Harsh? Gear Shift Changes, particularly in first and second gears Information: Rough gear changes with unmatched engine and transmission revs can be attributed to an unadapted PDK. |
