| 122-F2N6V-10 | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT ADAPTIVE/MOBILITY. There is a possibility that the front anti-roll bar on the affected vehicles was fitted with connecting links froma defective batch on which themounting bushes can move out of the mounting eyes. This can cause rattling noises and can subsequently cause the anti-roll bar to stop working. If this happens, vehicle handling may be impaired, resulting in oversteering of the vehicle, for example. Check connecting links (lower) on the front anti-roll bar and replace them if necessary. |
| 122-E4S5M-11 | 2017-10-15. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEM(GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM). With the introduction of the new Porsche Communication Management system (PCM 4.0), customers of vehicles with a navigation module will be provided with updated maps free of charge for a certain inclusive period as part of the Map Update service. | 122-N4G6E-09 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; STEERING. Symptom: Customers complain about disturbing noises coming from the footwell area on the driver's side while steering. Cause: The surface of the foam rubber seal in the sealing sleeves starts to wear and crumble due to high temperatures. This effect causes the reported noise. Remedial Action: In the event of a customer complaint on a vehicle that: * was produced before the date of introduction (June 02, 2016), replace the existing intermediate steering shaft with a new, modified intermediate steering shaft with felt ring, see Workshop Manual - Workshop Manual '482819 Removing and installing intermediate steering shaft', * was produced after the date of introduction (June 02, 2016) or was already replaced by the new type of intermediate steering shaft (with felt ring), |
| 122-H7B7W-09 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:APPLIANCE:AIR CONDITIONER. Information: Very small leaks may not be found on a normal inspection. Extra effort to locate these leaks is required. |
| 122-X4P2F-09 | 2017-09-14. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL. Information: Due to an incorrect parameter set for both control units for PDCC, the PASM control unit can detect non-existent swaying of the chassis under certain driving conditions. As a result, the PDCC system is deactivated and the chassis is switched to Sportmode. If this happens, the yellow warning message "Chassis system fault - Visit workshop, Adapted driving permitted" will be displayed in the instrument cluster and the vehicle then permanently behaves like a chassis in Sport mode. Remedial Action: Re-program control units for PDCC using the PIWIS Tester with software version 36.000 (or higher) installed. |
