Information: The upper front hood latches have a fine adjustment not mentioned in the workshop manual. A fine adjustment to change the depth of the upper latch striker may be made at the bolt shown in the photo above. This is a useful adjustment for front latch issues that cause a warning in the instrument cluster for the front hood being open as well as fine tuning the closed height of the hood.

The technician is able to verify the MIL and notices fault code P0071 stored in the DME. PCNA is aware of this this issue. As background information, the fault is caused by the temperature sensor not communicating with the DME via CAN.
