Recalls that may apply to the 2016 Porsche Cayman

A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups.

United States: NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19
None found.
Canada: Transport Canada, as of 2026-10-19
20224872022-08-31. Lights And Instruments. Issue: On certain vehicles, covers were not installed over the horizontal headlamp adjusters. As a result, the headlamps may be adjusted horizontally. Canadian regulations do not allow for horizontal headlamp adjustment unless the vehicle is equipped with a built-in aiming device. Safety Risk: Headlamps that are not properly adjusted could cause reduced visibility or glare for oncoming drivers, and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Porsche will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to install caps over the headlamp adjustment screws.
20196212019-12-11. Other. Issue: On certain cars, the owner's manual may be missing instructions on how to properly install a child seat. Safety Risk: If a user does not understand how to properly install a child seat, there could be an increased risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Porsche will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your car to a dealer to receive a supplementary owner's manual booklet with the missing information.
20193532019-07-18. Airbag. Issue: On certain vehicles, the airbag electronic control unit could be damaged by an electrical fault. This could cause the airbag system not to work properly in a crash. It could also result in a deployment of the airbags and/or seat belt pretensioners without a crash. Safety Risk: Airbags that do not work properly in a crash could create an increased risk of injury. Airbags or seat belt pretensioners that deploy without a crash could create a risk of injury and also increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their vehicle to a dealer to inspect the airbag control module. If an electrical fault is detected, the airbag control module will be replaced.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
