Service bulletins for the 2014 Porsche 911

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

576 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

122-U3Z5M-062017-09-14. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Concerns: DME control unit Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is a possibility that the oil temperature sensor will be incorrectly diagnosed as faulty when the ignition is switched off and then back on again immediately on the affected vehicles due to the current diagnostic setup formonitoring the oil temperature sensor. As a result, the Check Engine light in the instrument cluster will be activated, although there is no fault present.
122-D6Q9P-062017-09-14. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:MECHANICAL; ENGINE. Concerns: Rubber sleeve between pressure pipe and throttle housing Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is a possibility that the clamp for the rubber sleeve was not tightened to a sufficiently high tightening torque on the pressure pipe and as a result, the rubber sleeve can slip off the pressure pipe on the affected vehicles. If this happens, full performance will no longer be guaranteed.
122-S4H7K-062017-09-14. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL; ENGINE. Concerns: DME control unit Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. Noises ("rattling") can come from the engines in the affected vehicles at idle speed under certain conditions.
122-F5K9C-062017-09-14. Service bulletin. ENGINE; EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL. Concerns: DME control unit Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. A new data record is available for the DME control unit. This data record improves the engine running quality at idle speed in order to prevent possible engine speed fluctuations and customer complaints. The improved idling quality only affects engine operating comfort.
122-N8Y2M-062017-09-14. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM. Concerns: Vacuum lines for sound symposer Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is a possibility that the vacuum line on the change-over valve for the sound symposer can slip off on the affected vehicles due to relative movements of the engine. As a result, there is no guarantee that the sound symposer and other vacuum-controlled actuators on the engine will function correctly. This causes the warning message "Fault cooling system" to be displayed in the instrument cluster.
122-E4E3B-052017-09-14. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE; ENGINE. Concerns: Water drain valves on air cleaner housing Information: In certain environmental conditions, e.g. during heavy rain, there is a possibility that water can get into the air cleaner housing via the engine compartment lid on the affected vehicles. Depending on howmuch water has leaked in, the water may not be able to drain away quickly enough through the water drain valves provided for this purpose. As a result, there is a possibility that the air cleaner will age prematurely because of the increased wet and dry phases. This can cause reduced filter throughput and the customer may notice reduced engine power as a result.
122-Y2P7D-052017-09-14. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:MANIFOLD/HEADER/MUFFLER/TAIL PIPE. Concerns: Vacuum line for exhaust flaps Information: The vacuum line for the exhaust flaps can shorten because of the heat from the engine and become detached from the vacuum units for the exhaust flaps over the service life of the vehicle.
122-S3G6A-052017-09-14. Service bulletin. ENGINE. Concerns: Misfires at high RPM (>7,000 RPM) Information: *Diagnostic path for fault finding in the event of the complaint "Engine misfire" * Repair scopes and required repairmeasures
122-X7H3D-062017-08-01. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:MECHANICAL; ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:EXHAUST SYSTEM:MANIFOLD/HEADER/MUFFLER/TAIL PIPE. Concerns: Tailpipe covers Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is a possibility that the fastening screw on the tailpipe covers on the affected vehicles was not tightened to the specified tightening torque.
