Service bulletins for the 2013 Porsche 911
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| 122-R2J7H-06 | 2017-08-01. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; EQUIPMENT; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM). Concerns: Electronic logbook in Porsche Communication Management (PCM) 3.1 Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. Implausible entries can appear in the logbook (e.g. negativemileage, double entries) on the affected vehicles due to incorrect PCM software. Earlier entries in the logbook can even be overwritten in some cases. |

| 122-X4Q7B-06 | 2017-08-01. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Concerns: Convertible top status messages in instrument cluster. Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. The instrument cluster on the affected vehicles may have been coded with incorrect values during the production process. |
| 122-X7S6C-06 | 2017-08-01. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:CLUTCH ASSEMBLY; POWER TRAIN:MANUAL TRANSMISSION. Concerns: Electric change-over valves Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is the possibility that electric change-over valves, which may be susceptible to the ingress of moisture due to insufficient sealing, were installed in the affected vehicles. This can cause the change-over valves to malfunction over time. As a result, control over the closing valves in the clutch cooling system (PDK) and gear wheel set (PDK and manual transmission) may be impaired. In extreme driving situations (e.g. race starts, high ambient temperature, frequent gear changes), the transmission or clutch could overheat. |
| 122-P4U9T-06 | 2017-08-01. | 122-S4G9N-06 | 2017-08-01. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:DISC; SERVICE BRAKES; SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. Concerns: Rear-axle disc brake pads Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is a possibility that disc brake pads from a batch that does not conform to the high quality standards of Porsche may have been installed on the affected vehicles. As a result, there may be increased noise from the brake system when braking in certain environmental conditions. |
| 122-K7D2Q-06 | 2017-08-01. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY:SUN/MOON ROOF ASSEMBLY; EQUIPMENT. Concerns: Wind deflector Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is the possibility that the wind deflector will not reach its end position when closing the convertible top in the event of unfavorable tolerances on the affected vehicles. As a result, the convertible top cannot be closed completely. |
| 122-K5C9P-06 | 2017-08-01. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE; EQUIPMENT:MECHANICAL. Concerns: Wind deflector Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is a possibility that the wind deflector will not reach its end position when closing the convertible top in the event of unfavourable tolerances on the affected vehicles. As a result, the convertible top cannot be closed completely. To prevent this, the wind deflector on the affected vehicles was greased as an immediate step as part of workshop campaign WC40. In the course of this new campaign, the wind deflector must be replaced with a technically optimised wind deflector as a long-term effective measure. |
| 122-D6U5E-06 | 2017-08-01. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. Concerns: PDK control unit Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. A shift rod movement at a shift gate that was not selected can be detected incorrectly on the affected vehicles due to a software error. As a result, fault code "P1767 - Hydraulic multiplexer fault" can be stored in the fault memory of the PDK control unit and the PDK transmission can switch to the reduced driving programme until the ignition is switched off and on again. |
| 122-G7E5R-06 | 2017-08-01. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Concerns: PDK transmission Information: There is a possibility of moisture condensing in the vent line of the PDK transmission under certain environmental influences and getting into the inside of the PDK transmission through the ventilation connections. The transmission oil/water emulsion created as a result of this is deposited on the inner contacts of the multiple plug connection for the PDK transmission and causes electric shunt circuits there. If this happens, the PDK transmission can malfunction, e.g. switch to the reduced driving program (limp-home mode). |
| 122-C9R3N-06 | 2017-08-01. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY:SUN/MOON ROOF ASSEMBLY. Concerns: Roof assembly Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. There is a possibility that the adhesivematerial on the affected vehicles was not fitted in accordance with the instructions due to amanufacturing problem. As a result, noises can occur in the roof-assembly area over the service life of the vehicle. |
