Service bulletins for the 2003 Porsche 911

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

401 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

122-A6R3Q-052017-07-19. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:DRIVELINE; POWER TRAIN:DRIVELINE:DRIVESHAFT. "Concern: Replacing Hardy disc on the cardan shaft during repairs Notes: Previously, the Hardy disc (± Figure 1) was not available separately, and the entire cardan shaft had to be replaced. In order to improve the serviceability of these vehicles, we have now made the Hardy disc available as a separate part and it can be replaced independently of the cardan shaft, if required."

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
