| 2023295 | 2023-05-23. High Voltage. Issue: On certain vehicles, the high-voltage battery could overheat when it is fully charged. Vehicles that received a software update under that recall also require this repair. Safety Risk: A battery that overheats can create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Polestar will notify owners by mail and advise you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to replace the high-voltage battery. |

| 2022716 | 2022-12-15. High Voltage. This recall was replaced by Transport Canada Recall No. 2023-295. Issue: On certain vehicles, the high-voltage battery could overheat when it is fully charged. As a result, the battery could create smoke or heat, which can melt or damage the battery and nearby parts. Safety Risk: A battery that overheats can create a fire risk. Corrective Actions: Polestar will notify owners in writing and send a wireless over-the-air update to each vehicle to lower the battery charging limit until the final repair is available. Polestar will send you a second recall notice to advise you when a replacement battery is available for your vehicle. |
| 2022490 | 2022-08-31. Visual System. Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the top-view camera to display instead of the rearview camera image when you are reversing. Canadian regulations require the rearview image to display when reversing. Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with a 360-degree park assist camera. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that does not display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. This could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Polestar will notify owners in writing and send a wireless over-the-air update to each vehicle. If the update cannot be completed successfully, you will be notified to schedule an appointment to have the update performed by a dealer. |
A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
