Service bulletins for the 2024 Peterbilt 535
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| 25PBA | 2025-05-06. Service bulletin. VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL. Certain Model 535/536/537/548 may have an oversized magnet carrier in the throttle pedal assembly, which may cause the pedal to stick, and may increase the risk of a crash. Driver may feel sticking or that pedal does not return to idle once released. Pressing the service brake will overcome a stuck throttle pedal and allow the vehicle to stop. All affected chassis must perform a date inspection on the throttle pedal. If the date falls on or between suspect range, 08/12/2022 through 12/14/2022, throttle pedal is considered bad and will need to be replaced. Safety Recall start date: 03/27/2025 |
