20011752001-06-11. Structure. On certain vehicles, a change in the internal linkage of cab doors has created a possible binding condition. If the linkage binds, full engagement of the door latch may not occur, allowing the door to open inadvertently. Correction: Dealers will modify the door linkage to correct the potential of binding.
20011062001-05-17. Steering. Certain vehicles equipped with TRW brand tie rod model number 24-DL. The tie rod ball-socket bearings have a below specification case depth and/or hardness, which can lead to premature wear of the socket. If this condition occurs, the driver can lose partial control of the right front wheel, possibly resulting in a crash. Correction: Dealers will replace the defective ball sockets and/or drag links.

On certain vehicles, the TRW ball sockets model 20-EDL used on certain ArvinMeritor and Eaton axle tie rods as well as certain TRW draglinks may wear out prematurely due to improper case depth and/or hardness of the ball-socket bearing. Premature wear can result in separation of the ball from the socket and loss of steering control. Correction: Vehicles will be inspected and replacement parts installed where necessary.
