Driver & Passenger Inflator Field Quality Parts Collection Initiative Update ***** Collection Initiative Summary ***** Nissan launched a special parts collection activity on May 10, 2017 to replace the front driver and passenger Takata air bag inflators free of charge on specific MY2014-15 Versa (N17) vehicles registered in following states; Alaska, Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Idaho, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, New Hampshire, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming. NOTE: Customers were informed that this parts collection activity was time-limited. Nissan communicated this activity would end once a sufficient number of in-use inflators had been collected. Nissan has collected a sufficient number of parts for this particular zone and will now close the initiative. Nissan wants to inform dealers that PM673 will conclude on August 7, 2017. The parts collection initiative will continue until August 7, 2017 in order to allow dealers sufficient time to complete any previously scheduled repairs. Dealers should not schedule any appointments beyond August 7, 2017 for this state specific collection activity. Once all collection activities have concluded, Nissan will request return of any unused parts with a separate communication. ***** What Dealers Should Do**** 1. Service Comm will deactivate PM673 on any unrepaired VINs on August 7, 2017. Dealers should complete previously scheduled appointments at this time and not continue to complete or schedule additional vehicles beyond August 7, 2017. 2. Dealers should submit any open claims for this collection activity by August 7, 2017. 3. Dealers may continue to use NTB17-049 to service any previously scheduled vehicles subject to this activity until August 7, 2017.
NTB17-0422017-10-25. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION. VERSA SEDAN, VERSA NOTE, AND MICRA SQUEAK IN FRONT SUSPENSION WHEN DRIVING OVER BUMPS IF YOU CONFIRM Squeak noise coming from the stabilizer bushings (see Figure 1) while driving over bumps at slow speeds, NOTE: To confirm the squeak is coming from the stabilizer bushing, it may be necessary to: a. Disconnect the stabilizer connecting rod from the stabilizer bar ? both sides (see Figure 1). b. Drive the vehicle slowly over bumps to confirm the squeak is eliminated. ACTION Replace both stabilizer bushings. - Refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), section FSU-Front Suspension, for stabilizer bushing replacement. - Stabilizer bushings are listed in the Parts Information.

ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING CONTROL VALVE OR TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY SERVICE INFORMATION After a CVT assembly or control valve replacement, additional service must be completed with CONSULT-III plus (C-III plus). - The original calibration data must first be erased from the TCM and then newcalibration data written. - If the calibration data is not erased, the vehicle can experience drivability concernswhich may result in a CVT issue. Additional Service when Replacing Control Valve or Transaxle Assembly - The following procedures, starting on the next page, must be performed in thisorder. - Check off procedure as they are performed in the order listed below.

NISSAN; DIAGNOSIS INFORMATION FOR ABS DTC C1130 SERVICE INFORMATION When diagnosing for DTC C1130 (ENGINE SIGNAL): ECM related DTCs (P-codes) must be diagnosed, repaired, and DTCs erased first. - DTC C1130 is an ABS DTC that indicates an output signal of the ECM is not recognized. - Absent or incorrect ECM signals, that are indicated by corresponding P-codes, may trigger C1130 in the ABS control unit. - Some vehicle features that can be affected by absent or incorrect ECM signals are: - Forward Emergency Braking (FEB) - Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC) - VDC/ABS/TCS
