SENTRA, VERSA SEDAN, AND VERSA NOTE; CVT FLUID LEAK SERVICE INFORMATION SERVICE INFORMATION CVT related fluid leaks may be diagnosed incorrectly upon initial inspection causing incorrect parts replacement such as oil pan gaskets, axle seals, etc. To help reduce/eliminate the possible return of an applied vehicle, first check for leakage around the CVT fluid charging pipe. When leakage is determined to be coming from the base of the CVT fluid charging pipe, remove it to inspect, and if necessary, replace the O-ring. If needed, CVT leak inspection dye may be used to determine the source of the leak. - Refer to NTB09-140. See example photos on pages 2 and 3.

VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN 2014-2017 VERSA NOTE; ECM REPROGRAM INTRODUCTION Nissan is conducting this voluntary service campaign on certain specific model year 2014-2017 Versa Note vehicles that are currently registered in the states of Arizona or Nevada. The Engine Control Module (ECM) software will be reprogrammed. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification number PM827 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within range of this campaign that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealer?s inventory.

CAMPAIGN BULLETIN Engine Control Module (ECM) Reprogram Regional (NV & AZ) Voluntary Service Campaign ***** Campaign Summary***** Nissan is conducting a Regional Voluntary Service Campaign to reprogram the Engine Control Module (ECM) on affected vehicles currently registered in Nevada and Arizona. The current programming may cause the air/fuel ratio to become excessively rich resulting in engine stop under certain high temperature and high altitude conditions. In addition, Nissan is asking dealers to inspect and, if necessary, replace the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve on certain 2013-14 Nissan Sentra vehicles. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History - Open Campaign I.D. Due to the various models involved and the associated responsible manufacturing location of origin, there are three (3) separate campaign IDs with unique Campaign Bulletins for each model: - PC633 - PM827 - P8325 New vehicles in dealer inventory can be also be identified using DCS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). - Refer to NPSB 15-460 for additional information NOTE: These campaigns are state-specific and limited to vehicles that are currently registered, or previously registered, in the state of Nevada or Arizona only. 2. Nissan requests dealers repair any affected vehicles in retailer new or pre-owned inventory to ensure customer satisfaction. 3. Dealers should use the appropriate repair bulletin for the applicable model as listed below to correct any vehicles subject to this campaign. 4. Once repaired, dealer should submit a warranty claim and release the vehicle.

NTB17-0822017-10-25. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE/TRAILER:LPG SYSTEMS:TANK VALVE/GAUGE. NISSAN; DTC P0456 CAUSED BY EVAP LEAK AT VENT CONTROL VALVE O-RING IF YOU CONFIRM The MIL is ON in an APPLIED VEHICLE with DTC P0456 (EVAP VERY SML LEAK) AND - DTC P0456 is not caused by a loose fuel fill cap (refer to NTB13-097). - An EVAP leak has been detected where the vent control valve mounts to the canister. - The vent control valve O-ring seal is determined to be the cause. ACTION 1. DO NOT REPLACE the vent control valve. 2. Replace the vent control valve O-ring seal (O-ring). - Refer to SERVICE PROCEDURE on page 2.
NTB17-0422017-10-25. Service bulletin. SUSPENSION. VERSA SEDAN, VERSA NOTE, AND MICRA SQUEAK IN FRONT SUSPENSION WHEN DRIVING OVER BUMPS IF YOU CONFIRM Squeak noise coming from the stabilizer bushings (see Figure 1) while driving over bumps at slow speeds, NOTE: To confirm the squeak is coming from the stabilizer bushing, it may be necessary to: a. Disconnect the stabilizer connecting rod from the stabilizer bar ? both sides (see Figure 1). b. Drive the vehicle slowly over bumps to confirm the squeak is eliminated. ACTION Replace both stabilizer bushings. - Refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM), section FSU-Front Suspension, for stabilizer bushing replacement. - Stabilizer bushings are listed in the Parts Information.
NTB17-0412017-10-25. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, AIR:SUPPLY:QUICK RELEASE VALVE; POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM). ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING CONTROL VALVE OR TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY SERVICE INFORMATION After a CVT assembly or control valve replacement, additional service must be completed with CONSULT-III plus (C-III plus). - The original calibration data must first be erased from the TCM and then newcalibration data written. - If the calibration data is not erased, the vehicle can experience drivability concernswhich may result in a CVT issue. Additional Service when Replacing Control Valve or Transaxle Assembly - The following procedures, starting on the next page, must be performed in thisorder. - Check off procedure as they are performed in the order listed below.

REVISED WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS SERVICE INFORMATION For the Applied Vehicles, some wheel alignment specifications listed in the Front Suspension (FSU) and Rear Suspension (RSU) sections of the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) have been revised. Updated ESMs will be distributed to the field as quickly as possible. Until the updated ESMs are made available, please use the corrected specifications listed in this bulletin.
