Electronic Tailgate Lock Voluntary Service Campaign Campaign Summary: Nissan is conducting a Voluntary Service Campaign on certain 2020 model year Nissan Titan (A61) vehicles to install an electronic tailgate lock as Monroney labels for the subject vehicles inadvertently included the electronic tailgate lock. What Dealers Should Do: 1.Verify if vehicles are affected by this Voluntary Service Campaign using Service Comm or DBS National Service History – Open Campaigns I.D. PC772. 2.Dealers are requested to remedy any affected vehicles in dealer new or pre-owned inventory to ensure customer satisfaction. •New vehicles in dealer inventory can also be identified using DBS (Sales-> Vehicle Inventory, and filter by Open Campaign). •Refer to NPSB15-460 for additional information 3.Dealers should use NTB20-092 to correct any vehicles subject to this campaign. 4.Once repaired, dealers should submit the claim, using the claims coding provided, and release the vehicle. |

VOLUNTARY SERVICE CAMPAIGN 2020 TITAN/TITAN XD; ELECTRONIC TAILGATE LOCK ASSEMBLY INTRODUCTION Nissan is conducting this voluntary service campaign, on certain specific model year 2020 Titan/Titan XD vehicles, for installing an electronic tailgate lock assembly. This service will be performed at no charge to the customer for parts or labor. IDENTIFICATION NUMBER Nissan has assigned identification number PC772 to this campaign. This number must appear on all communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign. DEALER RESPONSIBILITY Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within range of this campaign that enter the service department. This includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and vehicles in a dealer’s inventory. |
