NTB21-0052021-02-06. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. 2021 ROGUE; REMOTE ENGINE START SERVICE INFORMATION To use the Remote Engine Start (RES) feature, the following conditions must be met: • The RES has been turned ON using C-III plus. • Enabling/disabling RES is no longer available as a combination meter selection. • The ignition is OFF. • The shift selector is in the “P” (park) position. • The hood, doors, and hatch are closed. • The hazard warning lights are OFF. • The Intelligent Key is within 197 feet (60 m) of the vehicle, and there are no obstructions between the Intelligent Key and the vehicle. • The vehicle is already locked (this must be done using the Intelligent Key or the request switch on the exterior door handle).

When replacement of the AWD coupler is required, DO NOT follow the ESM procedure. Instead, follow the procedure outlined in this service bulletin.
NTB20-0842020-12-09. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECU/ECM); ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; EQUIPMENT. INTELLIGENT KEY UNIT DTC P161D STORED IN THE ECM SERVICE INFORMATION DTC P161D (IMMOBILIZER) will not cause: • The MIL to turn ON. • The Remote Engine Start to become inoperative. • The “No Key Detected” message to appear. • An impact to any of the vehicle’s functions or performance. If other DTCs are stored with P161D, perform the diagnosis and repair procedures, outlined in the ESM, for the other DTCs first. • After the other DTCs have been resolved and P161D does not clear, proceed with the diagnosis and repair, outlined in the ESM, for DTC P161D.
