AUTOMATIC BACK DOOR INOPERATIVE SERVICE INFORMATION Before performing diagnostics on an APPLIED VEHICLE that appears to have an inoperative automatic (power) back door (e.g., the door will not open, close, latch, etc.): • Confirm the Power Back Door is set to ON in the Vehicle Settings menu in the Vehicle Information Display (Figure 1). • To access/change the Power Back Door setting, use the scroll dial and buttons on the steering wheel to navigate to the Vehicle Settings menu. • Refer to ASIST and the ESM for further diagnostic information if the Power Back Door setting is confirmed to be ON and the door is still inoperative.

Submit a factory warranty claim for replacement of the electronic shifter assembly. Do NOT charge the customer for replacement of the electronic shifter assembly.

COMBINATION METERS CANNOT BE SWAPPED SERVICE INFORMATION Do not swap combination meter modules between vehicles for any reason in the APPLIED VEHICLES. Due to a new electrical architecture, the vehicle mileage is now stored in multiple control modules. When a mileage difference is detected between modules, the module with the lower value will be immediately overwritten, replacing it with the higher mileage. If a new combination meter module is installed, it will automatically be overwritten to the correct vehicle mileage.
