SERVICE INFORMATION The base model of the 2013-2014 Altima 2.5 Sedan is not equipped with an engine cover. Base model 2013 Altima 2.5 Sedan vehicles built before the VINs and dates shown below are not equipped with exhaust finishers. 1N4AL3AP(*)DC 227196 // March 13, 2013 1N4AL3AP(*)DN 530748 // March 8, 2013 The base model can be identified by the model designation on the trunk lid. The trunk lid will not have any of the following: - S - SV - SL Do not attempt to install an engine cover or exhaust finishers* under warranty on the base model. Installation of these parts on this model is not covered under warranty. *If vehicle was built before VINs and dates shown above.
NTB08055C2021-05-10. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT; AIR BAGS. SERVICE INFORMATION Information necessary to service the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) safely is included in the "RESTRAINTS" section of the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for each vehicle. IMPORTANT: Turn the ignition switch OFF, disconnect both battery terminals, and wait at least 3 minutes before performing any service on the SRS. See this bulletin for further detail.
NTB13005B2021-05-10. Service bulletin. VISIBILITY; EQUIPMENT. IF YOU CONFIRM: A wind or road type noise is coming from either front door around the door mirror area AND / OR A rattle or flutter type noise is heard from the window or mirror area(s). NOTE: The noises reduce during a road test after applying "painter's tape" or suitable covering where noted in Figure 1. - The rattle noise is coming from the lower cover due to loose fit. SERVICE INFORMATION This bulletin contains diagnostic information related to 2013 and 2014 Altima Sedan vehicles equipped with the Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Blind Spot Warning (BSW) systems. Although the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) should be used primarily when inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing LDW / BSW related issues, the supplemental information in this bulletin will assist in these areas. Nissan Original Equipment or Genuine Accessory Alloy wheels, along with their finish coating (clear, chrome, titanium, etc.), are specifically developed to achieve Nissan design and performance standards. These Original Equipment or Genuine Accessory wheels are subjected to testing to ensure they meet Nissan's standards. Nissan Original Equipment Alloy or Genuine Accessory wheels subjected to aftermarket chroming may no longer continue to meet these standards and may be seriously damaged. Therefore, Nissan most strongly discourages, and recommends that these wheels NEVER be subjected to, aftermarket chroming. See this bulletinfor further detail.
