This bulletin instructs dealers how to re-register vehicle keys for affected vehicles. Affected vehicles may experience a condition of the door(s) inability to be locked or unlocked using the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) function. Dealers are instructed to re- register the ley using "Customer Key Programming" procedure in the Owner's Manual. This bulletin also provides Summary Table for Function Customization & Key Programming.

The bulletin instructs dealers to confirm a list of specific Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) if vehicle experiences the following symptoms in cold weather: the check engine light illuminating with a limited vehicle speed (failsafe mode), or the engine does not restart after driving a short distance and stopping the engine for a few minutes. Once symptoms and DTCs are confirmed, dealers should replace the following relays with anti- freezing types: ETV, A/T (CVT), injector, and starter.

For these smartphone models, the pairing code for Bluetooth connection must be set to a fixed code of ?0000.? This TSB instructs dealers how to register these smartphones using the pairing code ?0000.?

Customers may report the front seat belt fraying as a result of being caught under the seat reclining adjusting lever. This TSB instructs dealers how to replace the front seat belt and reclining adjusting lever (driver and/or passenger side) with a countermeasure part, to prevent fraying of the seat belt should it get caught under the lever, on affected vehicles.

The vehicles after these production dates already have the countermeasure part. A DPSM PWA is required for replacement of the driver seat adjuster on affected vehicles.
