Service bulletins for the 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

106 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

TSB-13-13-001REV2020-03-18. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. This TSB provides a field fix procedure to address false MIL illumination with DTC P0300 (Random/multiple cylinder misfire detected) stored in the ECM under the following conditions: 1. During cold engine start, rough or partial clutch operation (manual transmission only) may cause powertrain vibration similar to a misfire and cause false MIL illumination. 2. At high engine speeds with low load condition, a CVT downshift can cause powertrain vibration similar to a misfire and cause false MIL illumination. 3. At high engine speeds, improper Misfire Monitoring (P0300) threshold values may cause false MIL illumination. New software revises improper Misfire Monitoring (P0300) threshold values to false MIL illumination.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
