Service bulletins for the 2018 Mitsubishi ECLIPSE CROSS

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

124 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

TSB-18-13-0022018-07-16. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. This is a Technical Service Bulletin sent to dealers. It instructs dealers to reprogram the engine ECU with updated software to correct the issue, on certain vehicles, of MIL illumination with DTC P061A. During turbocharged driving, DTC P061A (Torque Monitoring) may set when the current monitor does not recognize turbocharged operation. When DTC P061A is detected, the vehicle goes into fail-safe mode and vehicle speed is restricted to a maximum of 25 mph (40 km/h). Depending on vehicle and/or driving conditions, DTC P1574, C1707, C121C, C1777, or C2339 may also be detected. The new ECU software optimizes the Torque Monitoring to be able to recognize turbocharged operation.

The summaries are NHTSA's. Each bulletin's page links NHTSA's copy of the manufacturer's document.
