20222372022-05-06. Brakes. Issue: On certain vehicles, corrosion could cause the brake booster to fail. If this happens, there may be an increase in brake pedal effort and increase the distance needed to stop the vehicle. In rare cases of severe corrosion, the brake booster could separate completely and cause a loss of brakes. Safety Risk: A loss of brakes can increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz advises you to stop driving your vehicle immediately. The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to contact a local Mercedes-Benz dealership to arrange for towing and an inspection. The dealer will remove the rubber brake booster sleeve and determine whether the vehicle is safe to drive or if it can't be driven and a parts replacement is necessary. Also, depending on the results of the inspection, you may need to return within two years for a re-inspection.
20172042017-04-11. Engine. On certain vehicles equipped with 6-cylinder diesel engines, the engine control unit may misinterpret a signal in the event of a crash. In the event of a crash, the airbag control unit transmits a signal via the CAN bus network to the engine control unit in order to shut off the engine and fuel pump. Should a crash result in damage that affects the CAN bus, the engine and fuel pump may not be automatically switched off. If a fuel line or hose were also damaged in the crash, fuel leakage might occur, which in the presence of an ignition source, could lead to a fire causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will re-program the engine control unit with new software.
20161582016-04-13. Airbag. On certain vehicles, the driver frontal airbag inflator could produce excessive internal pressure during airbag deployment. Increased pressure may cause the inflator to rupture, which could allow fragments to be propelled toward vehicle occupants, increasing the risk of injury. This could also damage the airbag module, which could prevent proper deployment. Failure of the airbag to fully deploy during a crash (where deployment is warranted) could increase the risk of personal injury to the seat occupant. Correction: Dealers will replace the front driver air bag module.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
