Canada: Transport Canada, as of 2026-10-19
20243422024-06-14. Electrical. Issue: On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Mercedes-Benz dealer during recall 5491309 (Transport Canada recall no. 2022-397) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required. On certain vehicles equipped with 4-wheel drive (4Matic), the transmission wiring harness may not be routed correctly. As a result, water could enter the wiring harness connector and cause a short circuit. Note: This recall replaces Transport Canada recall no. 2022-397. Safety Risk: A short circuit can create the risk of a fire, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the transmission wiring harness.
20240812024-02-09. Electrical. Issue: On certain vehicles, the bolt for the 48 V ground connection may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the wiring could overheat and melt. Safety Risk: Wiring that overheats and melts can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, tighten the ground connection.
20225472022-09-29. Electrical. Issue: On certain vehicles, the 12 V battery (in the trunk) could move in a crash. As a result, the battery electrical connexions could detach. If this happens, the post-crash safety systems (like the emergency calling (eCall) system, electric seat adjustment, hazard warning lights, and automatic door unlocking) may not work. Safety Risk: Safety systems that don't work correctly could increase the risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to add a bracket to better secure the battery.
20223972022-07-22. Electrical. Issue: On certain vehicles equipped with 4-wheel drive (4Matic), the transmission wiring harness might not be routed correctly. As a result, water could enter the wiring harness connector and cause a short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit can create the risk of a fire, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the connector on the transmission wiring harness, and repair it if necessary. Additionally, the dealer will install a bracket to improve the routing of the transmission wiring harness.
20210642021-02-12. Electrical. Issue: On certain vehicles equipped with the emergency calling (eCall) system, the communications module may temporarily lose power during a crash. If this happens, the wrong vehicle location may be transmitted through the eCall system. This could cause emergency responders to be sent to the wrong location. Safety Risk: If the eCall system sends out the wrong location after a crash, there could be a delay in response from emergency services. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and send a wireless over-the-air update to each vehicle. If the update cannot be completed successfully, you will be notified to schedule an appointment to have the update performed by a dealer.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
