A recall listed here may apply to a vehicle of this year, make and model. Only the manufacturer can say whether it applies to one vehicle: check the VIN with the official lookups.

19960321996-02-16. Structure. On certain vehicles, in the case of a minor frontal impact (hood latch area bumped) it is possible for the hood latch hook to be damaged and not function as a secondary safety catch as required by CMVSS 113 - Hood Latch System. If the hook is damaged and the hood is not properly latched, the hood could suddenly fly up during driving and block the driver's view of the road. Correction: Hood latch mechanism will be replaced with a redesigned version.
19940861994-05-06. Engine. On certain C220 vehicles, the cruise control linkage may not have been sufficiently lubricated and could bind, thereby not allowing the throttle to return to its fully closed position. A stuck throttle could result in loss of vehicle control and a crash without prior warning. Correction: Cruise control linkage will be replaced with a sealed and lubricated-for-life linkage.

A campaign lists a year, a make and a model, and often only some of the vehicles built. A list with nothing on it is not a clearance either. The lookups below check one VIN.
