| 08-001-26 | 2026-05-03. Service bulletin. AIR BAGS. This bulletin supersedes the previously issued bulletin(s) listed below. The changes are noted in Red. 08-002/25 08/06/25 Some customers may complain that the front passenger seat belt warning light flashes and the seat belt warning beep is activated, even though there is no occupant in the front passenger seat. When a passenger seat occupant sits with a load on the front side for a long time with the seat warmer on, the occupancy sensor becomes dented and sensitive. As a result, the sensor determines that there is an occupant in the front passenger seat even though the seat is empty. To eliminate this concern, the cushion heater pad has been further improved to re-route the heater wire around the cell, preventing heat conduction from the heater wire to the cell. REPAIR PROCEDURE Replace the passenger seat cushion pad with modified one according to the instructions on MGSS (SEAT CUSHION TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION). |
