Service bulletins for the 2018 Mazda Mazda6

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

549 on file from NHTSA, as of 2026-10-19.

09-021-22a2022-12-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some vehicles may exhibit a malfunction where the touch screen operates by itself (ghost touch). An example ghost touch would be the map on the center display scrolls without touching it. This is caused by heat expansion and contraction of the center display deforming and loosening the touch panel, resulting in an increased wire resistance (As a result, DTC B108E:04 may be stored). To eliminate this concern, a protection film has been added in the touch panel to prevent deformation.
