Some vehicles may exhibit a steering shimmy or body vibration during the PDI test drive or during the first few miles of driving after the vehicle has been delivered to the customer due to flat spots on the tires. Flat spots on tires may be caused by improper maintenance during dealer storage (e.g.: Vehicle was left stationary for a prolonged period of time in high ambient temperatures).
07-002-232023-03-03. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL. Some customers may complain that the ambient temperature on the instrument cluster is displayed more than 50 °F (10°C) lower than the actual temperature, resulting in insufficient performance of the air conditioning. This is caused by inappropriate soldering in the ambient temperature sensor. To eliminate this concern, the soldering process has been enhanced since December 2021 at the supplier.
09-014-232023-03-03. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY:DOOR; VISIBILITY. Some vehicles may experience white-streak stains appearing on the front door that look like they seeped out from under the outer mirror base. This is caused by water intruding from gaps of the outer mirror body and/or the hinge of the outer mirror, and corrosion occurring on the aluminum die-cast inner base in the outer mirror. Water, including white-salty corrosion, may drip out from gaps under the outer mirror base resulting in white stains on the front door. To eliminate this concern, the front outer mirror inner base has been modified.
09-012-232023-03-03. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; SEATS. Some customers may complain that the seat warmer does not operate when turning the ignition on while the seat is warm but when turning the ignition off then on again, the seat warmer begins to operate appropriately. DTCs “B1030:13” and/or “B1032:13” are stored. This is caused by the seat warmer's fail-safe mode which prevents it from working during the initial drive cycle. To correct this issue, the seat warmer has been modified to optimize the temperature control. B1030:13 Seat warmer unit (LH) circuit malfunction (Heater side), B1032:13 Seat warmer unit (RH) circuit malfunction (Heater side)
01-005-232023-03-03. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Some customers may experience the check engine light ON with DTC P0126:00 (Thermostat stuck open) and one or more of the following symptoms: The engine takes longer to warm up. The engine temperature gauge fluctuates. The low coolant temperature indicator (blue) light stays on longer or comes on while driving. Poor heater performance, especially at idle. NOTE: Vehicles with SKYACTIV-G 2.5T are not applicable. If DTC P2B61:00 (Coolant control valve circuit range/performance) accompanies DTC P0126:00, this TSB is not applicable. Diagnose according to the instructions on MGSS online. Due to production variety of the failsafe thermostat integrated in the coolant control valve, engine coolant may enter into a dry hollow in the failsafe thermostat, resulting in unintended opening of the failsafe thermostat at lower temperatures (104-176 °F (40-80 °C)). To eliminate this concern, the production process of the coolant control valve has been modified.
01-004-232023-03-03. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Some vehicles may have the check engine light on with DTC P0524:00 or P055F:00 stored in memory. Contamination in the engine oil may cause the engine oil solenoid valve to become stuck, resulting in improper operation of the oil pump and improper oil pressure. DTC P0524:00 (Engine oil pressure too low), DTC P055F:00 (Engine oil pressure malfunction). The control software of the PCM has been modified to eliminate this concern. In addition, the production process has been modified to reduce contamination in the engine oil solenoid valve, oil pump, spacer and oil filter.
01-001-23a2023-03-03. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Some customers may complain about a poor acceleration and rough idling or the CHECK ENGINE light ON with DTC P0301:00, P0302:00, P0303:00, P0304:00.NOTE: Only turbo engines are applicable; non-turbo engines are NOT applicable. In most cases, DTCs P030X stores, but sometimes not. Sometimes the CHECK ENGINE light does not recognize this engine concern. This is caused by the variable valve in the exhaust manifold seizing and causing the exhaust port to become hot and the exhaust valve seat to wear unevenly, resulting in compression leakage. To eliminate this concern, the design of the exhaust manifold has been modified.

Some customers may experience that after the doors are locked and the Fuel Door Lock Delay with MAZDA CONNECT has passed (default setting is 90 seconds), the fuel-filler lid does not lock and can be opened when pressing it. NOTE: - The fuel-filler lid does not lock immediately after the doors are locked, but after the time set in the Fuel Door Lock Delay (0, 30, 60, 90, and 120 seconds). - Although the root cause has not been identified, the vehicle should be repaired by adjusting the fuel-filler lid opener cable position when there is a customer complaint.
09-001-232023-02-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some vehicles may exhibit DTC U3000:04 (Telematics communication unit internal malfunction) stored after the connected service contract has been discontinued (only vehicles in which the customer opted out of CV services are affected - CSP04). This is caused by improper control software of telematics communication unit. To eliminate this concern, the control software of telematics communication unit has been modified.
01-003-232023-02-02. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Some vehicles may have a "LOW ENGINE OIL LEVEL" warning message and an engine oil level warning light on in the instrument cluster with DTC P250F:00 stored in memory, and the oil level has actually decreased to near low. - DTC P250F:00 - Engine oil level signal: engine oil level low This is caused by an oil consumption increase due to damage of the valve seals on the exhaust side. To eliminate this concern, the design of these valve seals has been modified.
01-001-232023-02-02. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Some customers may complain about a poor acceleration and rough idling or the CHECK ENGINE light ON with DTC P030X:00 (only turbo engines are applicable; non-turbo engines are NOT applicable). - In most cases, P030X is stored, but sometimes not. - Sometimes the CHECK ENGINE light does not recognize this engine concern. This is caused by the variable valve in the exhaust manifold seizing and causing the exhaust port to become hot and the exhaust valve seat to wear unevenly, resulting in compression leakage. To eliminate this concern, the design of the exhaust manifold has been modified.
SA-006/232023-02-02. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some customers may complain about the infotainment system and/or the MyMazda App showing incorrect clock and/or tire pressures and/or tire pressure missing. This may be caused by: - Incorrect calendar entry (month/day/year) after a battery disconnect - Infotainment system software update. - BCM TPMS unlearn during vehicle storage or transport. - Wheel/Tire change

When servicing SKYACTIV engine vehicles requiring to replace the Oil Galley Plug and Crush Washer, order the required part numbers below. These parts are not listed in GEPC and were previously listed as "non-serviceable" in the cylinder block diagram.
09-048-222023-01-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some vehicles may exhibit the following symptoms with DTC P05A0:00 (Active air shutter and the opening angle abnormality (sticking)) stored in memory. Symptom 1 [Mazda3 and CX-30]: The active air shutter is working, but DTC P05A0:00 is stored in memory. Cause 1: This is caused by improper control software of the PCM detecting the DTC immediately without performing the failsafe operation. When the active air shutter detects unusual torque, it is designed to repeat the open/close cycles up to three times as a failsafe to try to remove the object(s) which temporarily disturbed the movement. Symptom 2 [Mazda3, CX-30 and MX-30]: The active air shutter is frozen by snow and/or ice under freezing temperatures with DTC P05A0:00 stored in memory. Cause 2 [Mazda3 and CX-30]: When a temporary blocking of the active air shutter is expected to be caused by snow and/or ice and the intake air temperature is above the freezing point, DTC P05A0:00 may be unintentionally detected. [MX-30]: When a temporary blocking of the active air shutter is expected to be caused by snow and/or ice and the heater is turned on, DTC P05A0:00 may be unintentionally detected
09-001-22b2023-01-05. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY:DOOR; STRUCTURE.
07-004-22b2023-01-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; VISIBILITY:DEFROSTER/DEFOGGER/HVAC SYSTEM. Some customers may complain the A/C blows warm. This may be caused by one of two things. Cause 1: After accelerating in hot weather, the A/C blows warm air for a longer time than other models. This is caused by improper control software of the PCM not allowing the A/C compressor to resume properly after acceleration. During a hard acceleration above a certain throttle level opening, the PCM stops the A/C compressor operation for better acceleration. It then resumes the compressor operation after the acceleration. To eliminate this concern, the control software of the PCM has been modified. Cause 2: Insufficient cooling performance at ambient temperature of around 68 °F (20 °C) in daytime. This is caused when both the ambient temperature and the cabin temperature are at around 20 °C (68 °F), auto A/C set at around 20 °C (68 °F) may not cool down the cabin temperature properly. To eliminate this concern, control software of the dash-electrical supply unit (Dash-ESU) has been modified.
04-006-222023-01-05. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. Some customers may complain about hearing a grinding noise and/or vibration occur when applying the brake. This is due to rust on the rear brake disc plate.
01-017-222023-01-05. Service bulletin. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING. Some vehicles may experience an engine stall when hard accelerating from a stop (often difficult to reproduce on a test drive), no codes are stored and the vehicle easily restarts with no other drivability concerns. This is only caused in certain situations by the torque reduction calibration in the PCM software. To correct this issue, the control software of the PCM has been modified to optimize the torque reduction feature.
SA-078-222023-01-05. Service bulletin. SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC. Some vehicles exhibit brake related concerns such as brake noise, brake judder or brake dragging.
