| 26V139000 | 2026-03-11. ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:ENGINE CONTROL MODULE (ECU/ECM):SOFTWARE. Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2022-2027 TerraPro trucks. The engine control unit (ECU) software may allow the engine to start when the transmission is not in Neutral. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 102, "Transmission Shift Lever Sequence, Starter Interlock, and Transmission Braking Effect." Built 2021-01-11 to 2026-02-24. |

| 2026108 | 2026-03-11. Powertrain. Issue: On certain trucks, a software problem could allow the engine to be started with the transmission in the drive or reverse gear. If this happens, the truck could move suddenly when it is started. Safety Risk: Sudden and unexpected movement of the truck could increase the risk of an injury or a crash. Corrective Actions: To reduce the safety risk, Mack recommends you ensure the transmission is in the neutral gear before starting the engine until the recall repairs have been completed. Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the ECU software. |
