| 1987120 | 1987-11-04. Steering. VEHICLES MAY HAVE BEEN PRODUCED WITH THE KEYWAY ON THE RIGHT HAND STEERING ARM IN THE WRONG LOCATION. WITH THE WHEEL IN AN EXTREME LEFT HAND TURN AND THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL UNSUPPORTED (I.E., FALLING IN A POTHOLE), A TOGGLE CONDITION COULD OCCUR. THE RESULTING SLOW STEERING RETURN COULD OCCUR WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING AND COULD ADVERSELY AFFECT STEERING CONTROL WITH A POTENTIAL FOR A VEHICLE CRASH. CORRECTION: INCORRECT STEERING ARMS WILL BE REPLACED. |
