| 2022361 | 2022-06-15. Lights And Instruments. Issue: On certain trucks, some controls are not identified with the required symbol(s) or word(s). Specifically, the identifications for the HVAC fan control, the position side marker light control, the master lighting switch control and the turn signal control may be missing or mislabeled. Canadian regulations require the use of certain symbols and words for controls. This can help to avoid driver confusion. Safety Risk: These small errors do not affect safety or the function of the controls. Corrective Actions: This is not a recall. Mack has made changes to ensure that the controls for all new trucks are identified with the required symbol(s) and word(s). |

| 2021248 | 2021-04-26. Steering. Issue: On a small number of trucks, the steering transfer case was not properly filled with oil. As a result, the bearings may fail and the steering could lock-up. Safety Risk: A loss of steering control could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mack will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, replace the steering transfer case. To reduce the safety risk, Mack recommends that you should avoid driving your truck until this recall is completed. |
