| 2025531 | 2025-10-06. Seats And Restraints. Issue: On certain trucks, the passenger-side seat belt anchor may not have been secured to the floor properly. Safety Risk: A seat belt that detaches could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to reinforce the passenger-side seat belt anchor. |
|---|---|
| 2024632 | 2024-10-24. Brakes. Issue: On certain trucks, poor signal strength could cause the electronic control unit (ECU) to stop working or not to work properly. As a result, some safety systems may not work, including the antilock braking system, automatic traction control, electronic stability control, active cruise control and the collision mitigation system. Safety Risks: Vehicle safety systems that don't work correctly could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to reprogram the ECU software. |
| 2023474 | 2023-08-25. Lights And Instruments. Issue: On certain trucks, the front turn signals may not be visible from certain angles. Corrective Actions: Mack will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to install additional front turn signals. |
| 2022295 | 2022-06-07. Steering. Issue: On certain trucks, the steering gear may not have been assembled correctly. As a result, the steering gear could break and cause a loss of steering. | 2021616 | 2021-10-06. Lights And Instruments. Issue: On certain trucks, the tail lamps do not turn on when the daytime running lamps (DRLs) are on. New Canadian regulations require that, if a vehicle has dash backlighting, the low beam headlamps and tail lamps must automatically switch on when it is dark or the tail lamps must stay on at all times. Safety Risk: Driving without tail lamps in low light conditions could make the truck less visible and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mack will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to update the vehicle software. |
| 2021343 | 2021-06-02. Wheels. Issue: On certain trucks, the hubcaps may be defective and could come loose or detach while driving.
