THE BENDIX E12 DUAL CIRCUIT AIR BRAKE VALVES ON THESE VEHICLES MAY HAVE BEEN PRODUCED WITH AN IMPROPERLY INSTALLED TAPERED SNAP RING WHICH COULD COME OUT OF POSITION AND CAUSE THE VALVE TO MALFUNCTION, APPLYING THE TRUCK'S BRAKE SYSTEM WITHOUT WARNING. THIS COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF CONTROL AND A VEHICLE CRASH. CORRECTION: BRAKE VALVE WILL BE REPLACED ON AFFECTED VEHICLES. |
