Service bulletins for the 2021 Lincoln Corsair

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

TSB 26-2092 V22026-10-01. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY; UNKNOWN OR OTHER. This article supersedes TSB 25-2466 to add Bronco Sport, Escape, Maverick and Corsair, as well as removing Expedition and Navigator. One time use parts for Corsair and Bronco Sport were also added to the parts list. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit a headliner rattle or sagging condition around the roof opening panel. This may be due to the adhesive separating from the headliner substrate.
SSM 545552026-02-12. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; STRUCTURE:BODY; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Some 2020-2022-Corsair, 2021-2023 Nautilus, 2020-2024 Navigator/Aviator, and 2021-2024 Mustang Mach-E vehicles equipped with phone-as-a-key may exhibit various phone-as-a-key concerns with diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) U200D:15, U200E:15, U200F:15, B1589:31/49 through B1598:31/49, B1A56:31/49, B1D55:31/49, and/or B15A5:56 stored in the remote function actuator (RFA) module. If any of these DTCs are detected during diagnostics, clear the DTCs, reprogram the RFA to the latest software level and start a new Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS) session. Verify that DTCs are no longer present. If only the B1589:31/49 through B1598:31/49, B1A56:31/49, B1D55:31/49, and/or B15A5:56 DTCs return in the RFA after a self-test, follow normal Workshop Manual (WSM) diagnostics in Section 419-01. Repair as necessary outside of this article. For claiming, use causal part 14G617 and labor operations 12651D and 12651D4.
TSB 25-23462025-08-12. Service bulletin. UNKNOWN OR OTHER; STRUCTURE:BODY. Some of the vehicles listed in the Model statement above may exhibit a carpet that is loose or torn near the scuff plate trim panel. This may be due to the carpet tearing at or near the retainer hole.
SSM 519082023-10-04. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY:HOOD; STRUCTURE:BODY:DOOR; LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES; STRUCTURE:BODY:HATCHBACK/LIFTGATE. Some 2020-2023 Escape/Corsair vehicles may exhibit a door ajar warning indicator or higher than expected efforts to fully close doors. Verify the hood/liftgate are not open. Confirm all doors are fully closed and latches are fully engaged. Doors will not fully close when lightly letting go of the door or letting it swing closed from a short distance under its own weight. Push/pull effort must be applied to doors while closing to fully engage latch and turn off the ajar signal warning. If doors are still not fully latching closed, manually adjust door striker position to allow for proper alignment and engagement to the door latch. The door hang position may also need to be slightly adjusted to achieve the same effect. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-03.
SSM 515362023-05-04. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE. For 2000-2024 Ford and Lincoln vehicles, swapping a module from a vehicle for diagnosis purposes is likely to cause errors and is not recommended. It is also not recommended to order a replacement module using a vehicle identification number (VIN) from a different vehicle. Most modules on these affected vehicles are VIN/vehicle specific and hardware variations between modules do exist. Swapping a module from a vehicle or ordering a module using a different vehicle/VIN can cause ineffective repairs and additional vehicle down time. Make sure all appropriate Workshop Manual (WSM) procedures are followed when diagnosing the condition prior to all module replacements and only order modules using the correct VIN.
SSM 513182023-02-02. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE; LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES. Some 2020-2022 Escape/Corsair vehicles may exhibit a door ajar warning lamp or higher than expected efforts to fully close doors.
TSB 22-22092022-05-31. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE. Some 2020-2022 Corsair vehicles may exhibit a condition where the headliner is loose, warped, bent and/or out of position at the top rear center. This may be due to incorrect positioning of the weatherstrip causing the headliner to shift. To correct this condition, follow the Service Procedure to crimp the weather strip and reinsert the headliner.
SSM 504582022-02-16. Service bulletin. STRUCTURE:BODY; UNKNOWN OR OTHER; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING:SWITCHES/KNOBS/BUTTONS. Some 2020-2021 Explorer/Aviator/Escape/Corsair, 2021-2022 Bronco Sport, and 2022 Maverick vehicles may exhibit an inoperative driver door window control switch (windows inoperative, mirror control unresponsive, etc.). Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B1088:87 may be present in the driver door module (DDM). This may be due to the software in the DDM. To correct the condition, reprogram the DDM with the latest software level of the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). After reprogramming the DDM, run the DDM configuration application and perform a window learn routine via FDRS. For claiming, use causal part 14B291 and applicable labor operations in Section 10 of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual.
SSM 501652021-10-29. Service bulletin. LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES; STRUCTURE.
SSM 501302021-09-28. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM; STRUCTURE:BODY:DOOR; LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES. Some 2020-2021 Escape/Corsair vehicles may exhibit a door ajar warning indicator or higher than expected efforts to fully close doors. Confirm all doors are fully closed and latches are fully engaged in primary catch position (not partially closed in secondary catch position). Be aware that doors will not fully close when lightly letting go of door or letting it swing closed from a short distance under its own weight. Customer/dealer need to understand that push/pull effort must be applied to doors while closing to fully engage latch and turn off ajar signal warning. If doors are still not fully latching closed (to turn off ajar signal), manually adjust door striker position to allow for proper alignment and engagement to door latch. Dealer may also need to slightly adjust door hang position to achieve same effect. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 501-03.
