Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has developed the latest software upgrade in response to customer feedback on the performance of the InControl© Touch Pro? system. This software upgrade is designed to enhance the robustness of the following features and functions: ? System unable to read Compact Discs (CD) and/or Digital Versatile Discs (DVD) with an error message may be displayed on the Touchscreen. ? Touchscreen does not refresh. ? Touchscreen fails to reboot after recently being turned OFF. ? CD folder names are titled incorrectly as random numbers and the audio track identification numbers are displayed in the incorrect order. ? Media Player - when ripping CDs to Solid State Drive (SSD), the files are stored and playback is in the order that they are ripped in and not sequential by track ID. ? No sound can be heard while operating the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) with the Touchscreen. ? Voice - poor performance. ? Internet - no response.

Jaguar Land Rover North America Front Desk Engineering would like to inform all Pathfinder users about an emerging concern being tracked via technical helpline cases and EPQR submissions. When attempting to perform a complete PDI on 18MY Jaguar F-PACE or 18MY Land Rover Range Rover Velar models, a communication error between Telematics Control Unit (TCU) and JLR's Connected Car Server may leave the Telematics system deactivated. This issue is still under investigation and the root cause is not fully understood, but we have compiled an interim strategy to expedite a solution for circumstance based on TA cases where effective results have been achieved. Please see the attached PDF with detailed interim instructions for processing these vehicles. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused recently, and once a formal solution has been released this alert will be updated with appropriate details
LTB01112NAS12018-01-29. Service bulletin. LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES:TAILGATE:LATCH; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Situation: The hands-free tailgate may unintentionally open during or after periods of rain (or similar occasions where water has been applied to the rear of the vehicle) when the Smart Key is within 1.2m of the tailgate.
SSM735212018-01-29. Service bulletin. EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL:NAVIGATIONAL SYSTEM(GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM). When attempting to update the Navigation maps to a newer level the update fails and the Navigation becomes either slow to respond or no functionality at all.

SSM736992018-01-29. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE. ISSUE: Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) have received multiple reports of concerns experienced when updating vehicles equipped with InControl Touch Pro to latest software version NGI 17C on both Symptom Driven Diagnostics (SDD) and PATHFINDER. Additional vehicle feedback data shows that the failure rate is increasing, despite the many improvements made in Pathfinder 123 and SDD 152.00. JLR recommend that no further vehicles are routinely updated to NGI 17C. (Note below reference urgent vehicles only.)
