The 'D' may flash on the Transmission Control Switch (TCS) and/or Instrument Cluster after an Auto Stop/Start event. DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) P0715-64 and P0700-02 may be stored in the Transmission Control Module (TCM) and a 'Gearbox Fault' warning message may be displayed on the Instrument Cluster.

Issue: A customer may report an audible sound (groan type noise) from under bonnet immediately after the vehicle is unlocked and the vehicle stationary. The sound will extinguish after several seconds and is generated by the Acoustic Vehicle Alert System (AVAS) sounder fitted to Plug-in Hybrid Electric vehicles (PHEV). The AVAS is located behind the grille at the front of the vehicle. Cause: Software error in the Audio Amplifier Module (AAM) related to a communication timing error during wake up when vehicle is unlocked. Action: if a customer reports the concern please reconfigure the existing AAM using Pathfinder P170.

Issue: When in a radio function such as FM, AM, DAB/HD the following behaviour is seen: When making a selection using left or right tune soft key buttons or when selecting an alternative radio band (ie trying to change from FM to DAB) there is no response from touch screen and audio output remains distorted. The DTC B14D3-96 may also be stored in the Infotainment Master Controller (IMC) suggesting a radio tuner component internal failure.
