Issue: A customer may report an audible sound (groan type noise) from under bonnet immediately after the vehicle is unlocked and the vehicle stationary. The sound will extinguish after several seconds and is generated by the Acoustic Vehicle Alert System (AVAS) sounder fitted to Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV). The AVAS is located behind the grille at the front of the vehicle. Cause: Software error in the Audio Amplifier Module (AAM) related to a communication timing error during wake up when vehicle is unlocked.

Issue: A customer may report that intermittently a ?Low battery warning? message is displayed on the Instrument Cluster message centre, when the vehicle ignition is switched on after the vehicle has been parked overnight. In addition a clicking noise may be heard from the Rear Junction Box when the ignition is switched on.

SSM738102018-04-23. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Issue: A customer may report that the Satellite Navigation and text message voice feedback accent does not play back in ?American English? at the next ignition cycle, following selection on the language settings menu. The settings menu will correctly display ?American English? however the voice play back will be in ?British English?. If ?American English? is reselected in the settings menu the voice playback will revert back to ?American English? for current ignition cycle only. The concern will only occur when ?American English? is selected on 2018MY only, all other language settings are not affected.
SSM738232018-04-23. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:12V/24V/48V BATTERY. Customers report the ECO Stop/Start is not working. Retailers are testing the primary battery using the Midtronics EXP-1080 tester which is reporting the battery is serviceable. The vehicle then returns with the same Customer concern of ECO Stop/Start inoperative. If a Midtronics GRX-3080 is used, the primary battery fails the test. Replacement of the primary battery resolves the concern.

Issue: Customer has reported an 'Park Brake requires calibration' message on the Instrument Cluster ? message may not be visible when vehicle is in workshop.
