Jaguar Land Rover North America LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2026 Land Rover Range Rover Velar, Range Rover Sport, and Range Rover vehicles. The seat belt warning system may not activate the audible warning chime as intended. As such, these vehicles fail to conform with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection." Built 2026-02-05 to 2026-03-04. |

As a result, the seat belt reminder chime may not work when your seat belt isn't buckled. Canadian regulations require a seat belt reminder sound when a driver isn't wearing their seat belt. Safety Risk: A seat belt warning that doesn't work correctly may not remind you to buckle your seat belt. Not wearing your seat belt can increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Land Rover will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the audio amplifier. |
