Service bulletins for the 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| LTB01077NAS2 | 2018-05-29. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:SOFTWARE; POWER TRAIN; STEERING:GEAR BOX (OTHER THAN RACK AND PINION). A 'Gearbox not in park' message may be displayed on the Instrument Cluster with the transmission in 'P' (PARK). |
| SGI18-05 | 2018-05-29. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM); ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. An issue has been identified on certain vehicles within the listed Affected Vehicle Range where the 'Service Required' message will not appear on the Instrument Cluster (IC) if a vehicle has reached its service point and the engine is started normally by pressing the engine START/STOP button with the brake pedal pressed. Turning on the ignition only, by pressing the engine START/STOP button without the brake pedal pressed, will still allow the 'Service Required' warning message to be displayed. In addition, the latest Powertrain Control Module (PCM) software has introduced a concern relating to the ability to reset the service message indicator. The latest IC software will rectify these concerns. |
| LTB01077NAS3 | 2018-05-14. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN; ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. A 'Gearbox not in park' message may be displayed on the Instrument Cluster with the transmission in 'P' (PARK). |

| LTB01128NAS1 | 2018-04-02. Service bulletin. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM/PCM/TECM). A customer may be unable to select a transmission gear and/or start the engine. A 'Gearbox fault' message may also be displayed on the Instrument Cluster (IC). Switching the ignition 'OFF' and then 'ON' clears the fault. Upon further diagnosis, a Technician may find Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) U0402-09 stored in the Transmission Control Switch (TCS). DTCs U0402-00 (stored in the Powertrain Control Module [PCM]) and/or U0404-64 (stored in the Transmission Control Module [TCM]) may also be found. |
