Service bulletins for the 2024 Kenworth T680

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

Certain T370 / T440 / T470 / T480 / T660 / T680 / T800 / T880 / W900 / C500 chassis may be equipped with air tank reservoirs that have less than twelve times the combined volume of all service brake chambers which fail to conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No.121, Air Brake Systems.
25PACG2025-11-05. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. The 15-inch digital display in certain model year 2024–2026 Kenworth chassis may enter recovery mode (blue wrench screen) without prior indication. The screen becomes non-responsive and may result in non-compliance with FMVSS/CMVSS 101 (Controls and Displays), 121 (Air Brake Systems), 136 (Electronic Stability Control Systems for Heavy Vehicles). Because of a loss of speedometer and other functionality such as warnings, indicators, and gauges, the driver will not see the truck speed or the warnings that appear on the digital display. A loss of information on the digital display may increase the risk of a crash.

Safety Recall – Interim Notification Certain Kenworth T680E Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) chassis equipped with certain Accelera High VoltageInterlock Loop (HVIL) circuit configurations may experience a sudden loss of high voltage power with unintended opening of electrical contractors, which may occur without warning. This can result in a loss of propulsion and may increase the risk of a crash. This bulletin will be updated when parts and procedures are available.
25WC/PBC - KW2025-05-06. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Safety Recall Certain Kenworth T680E Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) chassis equipped with certain Accelera High VoltageInterlock Loop (HVIL) circuit configurations may experience a sudden loss of high voltage power with unintended opening of electrical contractors, which may occur without warning. This can result in a loss ofpropulsion and may increase the risk of a crash. Software version verification, along with the installation of an upgraded circuit overlay harness kit, is required to address this issue.
R2306 - KW2024-12-03. Service bulletin. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Retrofit This retrofit provides new MY24 emissions labels and replaces pre-production parts and software with production level parts and software on certain Model Year 2024 chassis. Reference the “Retrofit Parts Matrix” in the Links section below to determine which chassis are eligible and parts required to complete the Retrofit. The emissions exemption for all PACCAR MX powered chassis involved in this retrofit expires on 10/31/2024. After that date, all PACCAR MX powered chassis that have not received this Retrofit will be out of emissions compliance and illegal to operate. Certain Cummins powered chassis listed on the “Retrofit Parts Matrix” may also require completion of Cummins Retrofit C7014, accessed through Cummins QuickServe. Cummins powered chassis may also be subject to emissions exemption expiration. Refer to engine emissions label to determine if an exemption expiration date applies. Chassis equipped with PACCAR MX engines will receive redesigned fuel injectors to optimize engine performance.
