| 2008072 | 2008-02-29. Brakes. On certain vehicles, the slack adjuster may develop a fatigue crack and fail. This would render the slack adjuster inoperative, and reduce braking effectiveness. Extended stopping distances may result in a vehicle crash, causing property damage, and/or personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will inspect and, where necessary, replace the slack adjusters. |
